Sophia is cofounder of VREC She has completed Solar Photovoltaics I and II coursework in solar photovoltaic system design at BCIT. She brings to VREC over a decade of project management and management consulting experience within the non-profit and cooperative sector. A socially responsible eco-entrepreneur for many years, she began her entrepreneurial career in 1990 as owner of Environmentally Friendly, one of the first ecologically responsible janitorial companies in Vancouver. In addition to her work with VREC she is the owner of Technology Tailoring, and management consulting and information technology company helping non-profit and business clients do good things better.
