Rob Baxter

Rob has a MBA from University of Western Ontario. Prior to co-founding VREC he spent time studying the Next Generation Energy Coop, a renewable energy cooperative in Bellingham, WA. He has been active in many environmental campaigns and served on the board of directors of an environmental organization working to improve water quality.  He can be reached at robert@vanrenewable.org

Sophia Kelly

Sophia is cofounder of VREC She has completed Solar Photovoltaics I and II coursework in solar photovoltaic system design at BCIT. She brings to VREC over a decade of project management and management consulting experience within the non-profit and cooperative sector.

Alexander Maxwell

Electrician, Electrical Coordinator

Licensed Electrical Contractor Alex Maxwell has completed photovoltaics specific training including BCIT Solar Photovoltaics II; Solar Energy International PV. He can be reached at alex@vanrenewable.org

Greg Rae

Installation, SHW assessment

Greg is in process of completing the Canadian Solar Industries Association Solar Hot Water Installer Certification.

Darren Anderson

Technical Design and Installation

Darren is an Electrician and Environmental Technician, currently on leave from VREC in order to complete his Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Murdoch University in Perth, Australia. He has a Diploma of Environmental Planning Technology from Selkirk College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity Western University.
